With Independence month coming to a halt, these startups have achieved the funding.
August 2022 has been an auspicious month for India, gathering all the festivities in its gist. Apart from that, here are the startups that have also aided in the celebrations with their multi-million funding.
Startup 1: Mojocare
With the word care hidden inside its name, Mojocare is a wellness-providing startup. It pledges the removal of conditions that affect half of the Indian mass.
Problems like sexual wellness, PCOS and fertility, mental health, and physique are the motives for this startup’s drive. With the aim of everyone’s well-being, the company has recently completed its first round of funding in Bengaluru.
The funding round included famous investors like the CRED’s founder Kunal Shah, Sequoia India’s surge, and Better Capital.
The company has a set of two parents, or, as we say, founders. Coming to the first one, Ashwin Swaminathan, an IIT BHU alumnus, is the founder of Mojocare.
Mr Swaminathan started his career as a Research Associate at IIM, Bangalore. He then moved on with organizing TED events at BHU, starting his first startup named Flip Advertising, and a consultant at Axtria.
Apart from his early days, he has also been a board member in several re-known startups like PlaySimp Games, CUREFit and Pixis. With a career spanning across startups, he started Mojocare in the year 2020 with the motto –
“Come to Mojocare, get your mojo back”.
The startups define several defects, like the new era lifestyle, perception, and overall living. It also attaches several remedies to it.
The founders define the whole core of the company focuses on Sex education as one of the aspects of the business. They also mentioned bringing neo clinics with the touchup of AI and digitalism.
Sights of citation of the interviews were about how the mechanism would break the clinical stigma among the Indian Population, intending to solve a prominent issue.
Back to the main point, Mojocare raised $20.6 million in funding by taking onboard some existing investors and B capital.
Startup 2: Servify
Servify, a device management startup, closed the humongous funding round out of all startups like Oasis Fertility and Mojocare.
The main focus of the device management startups is in the B2B genre, providing after-sales service from prominent tech companies on a contractual basis.
On Servify’s website, the company has listed its working experience with tech giants like Apple, Samsung, Realme, and Oneplus. Apart from that, the company shares the detail of working with 17 M+ Consumers, 50+ OEM partnerships globally, and Caring for 500 M+ Devices.
The company statistics are the highest in India, contributing around 60% of Servify’s business, with India being the second largest smartphone market.
Apart from its home, the company shares a portfolio of serving more than 40 countries abroad. The country listed in the serving list includes the U.K, the U.S, Canada, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.
Coming to its funding, the startup has pulled $65 Million in funding led by Singularity Growth Opportunities Fund. The event also included investors like Iron Pillar, Beenext, and Blume Ventures.
With a revenue of $130 Million, the company also stated to do further funding with a more catchy amount.
Startup 3: Oasis Fertility
With its first steps in 2009, Oasis fertility is a healthcare-based startup in India with the core purpose of providing parenthood to couples.
Through different articles coordinations, Keedara’s acquisition of Oasis fertility boosts the number of clinic links abroad and in nations.
The 0asis fertility is said to have around 26 clinics in 16 cities with multiplying revenues from the current past. With several patented techs and a running school of Medical sciences, the firm has set out around 200 medical professionals and over 60 research papers.
With an undisclosed amount of funding, Kedaara Capital has stated Oasis of the potential for scalability and unique culture of clinical excellence and ethics.
In reply to the investors, the firm has also communicated its gratitude. They also stated the partnership to embark on their journey of being the leading fertility platform in South Asia.
A small ending note
With the startup era booming, India is showing no fewer achievements than others. With some noting their names, a lot would showcase their path sometime soon.
