When this instant messaging app first introduced voice notes, they quickly became a popular feature. Avoiding the tussle of right tone, grammar, and a clear way of expression, quick and smooth voice notes took over in no time.
A few days ago, the Meta-owned encrypted messaging service WhatsApp has rolled out 6 brand new voice note messaging features in the app. Gearing up with better control over the voice note feature in the app.
Launched back in 2013, this messaging app has come a long way, building a user base of over 2 billion and surfacing the best means to communicate.
WhatsApp has stated that people are sending 7 billion voice messages daily on average which is protected by end-to-end encryption, as per a report.

Recently launched 6 new features, Here is what it’s all about.
1) Out of Chat Payback – Earlier users were not having access to read messages outside the chat wall but now you can do multitask by listening to voice notes while scrolling through other chats too.
2) Pause or Resume Recording – Now you don’t have to delete the whole message if you go wrong somewhere while recording, but one can just pause and resume recording as per your easement.
3) Preview Draft of Voice Message – Now you can recheck your recording before sending it by pausing and backtracking it again.
4) Fast Forward – You can play any voice message at different speeds,1.5x or 2x the normal speed to listen to messages fast both regular and forwarded messages.
5) Waveform Visualization – This shows a visual representation of the sound of the voice to follow the recording.
6) Playback – pause when listening to a voice message, and you can pick up where you left off when you return to chat.
Conclusion – Booming up from a simple text platform to coming up with more user-friendly dynamics, WhatsApp has stayed on top keeping users happy and its consumer market intact.
