In old times finding a job was not easy; you had to read every newspaper, search for advertisements for a job opening, knock on doors of every company that’s hiring and hope you were eligible for the job.
But that was the old times. In modern times, we have websites like Monster.Com and Shine.Com that have made it easy to find a job that suits us.
In this article, I’ll talk about the top 5 such websites that you can find jobs on.
No.1. LinkedIn
Linkedin was founded in 2003, and right now, it is the largest professional network with over 774 million people using it to find jobs or hire for a job.
Unlike other websites, Linkedin features the Connection tool, which enables the user to create a network of connections to help them get recommendations and a strong network that allows them to have a strong portfolio.
And that’s the reason why it is Number one on this list.
Linkedin also works as a social media website.
No.2. Indeed.
Indeed was established in 2004, a year later Linkedin.
This website helps the user to find jobs, from entry-level to Experienced. It is free of cost and needs no account to apply.
But having an account helps you get emails and job opening alerts. But it is not necessary. I will also be bold enough to say that Naukri.Com and Shine.Com were a rip-off of this website.
The website boasts 250 million users with 10 job listings every second. Which makes it a perfect platform for searching for a job
No.3. Apna.Com
Apna app is a make in India startup.
This one is the most interesting of all apps. It has the most good looking design, making it look like it was made for GenZ.
When you sign up for apna.com with your phone number, name and qualification, you get a personalized Digital card that helps you with the job search, and you can send it to your connections and acquaintances.
You can also be part of the groups based on the jobs you are searching for.
No.4. Scouted.io
Scouted as landed on number 4 because of its unpopularity and nothing else. This website has a good motive and a good mission.
I didn’t know about this website until I started researching for this article. So why did I choose this article instead of others?
At scouted.io, they believe humans are more important than their resume. When you sign up for scouted.io, you are not chosen for a job based on the traditional metrics, i.e., Skills and Experience, instead of based on your personal attributes that make it so great.
And I daresay, it is the future of job searching websites.
No.5. Angellist.com
Angellist has landed on the fifth spot on this list due to its unique style and approach towards job finding.
Angelist was founded in 2015 to democratize how startups receive funding and hire people. It caters towards remote jobs and local job seekers, for startups based in online publishing, health, beauty etc.
It is trusted by 130,000 businesses, including big names such as Spotify and Slack.
If you are an entrepreneur or head of a startup, AngelList is the right place to stop by.
Conclusion.
So these are the top 5 job finding websites. I haven’t added websites such as Shine.Com, Naukri.com or Monster, because they are the hub of job finding and are primarily used in terms of time spent on apps/websites, and they have a lot of issues.
I hope you enjoyed reading and found this article helpful.

I’m impressed, I have to admit. Rarely do I encounter a blog
that’s equally educative and interesting, and
without a doubt, you’ve hit the nail on the head.
The issue is an issue that not enough people are speaking intelligently about.
I’m very happy I stumbled across this during my hunt for something concerning this.
