After Smartphones and Smart Watches, we now have Smart Glasses with open ear speakers and built-in pedometers.

The Titan Eye Plus has released the Titan EyeX, its first smart glasses, on 5th January 2022. It can be used as eyeglasses, sunglasses, or computer glasses and have a battery life of up to eight hours when fully charged.

    Processor

The Titan Eye is powered by a Qualcomm processor, details of which don’t seem to be yet specified. The smart glasses from Titan feature an open-ear speaker with true wireless stereo (TWS) functionality further.

Titan EyeX connects with Bluetooth v5 and is compatible with Android and iOS devices. It’s IPS4-rated for dust and water resistance. Users can even download the app on both operating systems to pair up with the glasses.

    Features

Within the digital era, people are shifting towards smart, hybrid wearables that solve the aim of conventional accessories and act as smart, health-monitoring devices.

With that in mind, Titan EyeX provides a pedometer that keeps track of daily tracks, distance walked, and calories burnt.

It has touch controls on both left and right sides, which assists in receiving and rejecting calls, controlling music with touch-based controls for play, skip, pause, and stop. You’ll be able even to click selfies using the Titan EyeX glasses.

Titan has also included a built-in tracker in the EyeX to assist customers in locating the glasses. The smart glasses are 124x140x40mm in size. The battery can last up to eight hours on a single charge.

The CVC provides a clear and amazing voice quality with volume control that is easy to adjust the amount of audio output in line with the ambiance. The open ear speakers don’t block or cover your ears, so you’ll still bear in mind the environment while attentive to music.

    Price and Availability

The price of newly launched smart glasses – Titan EyeX is ₹9,999, and however, with the addition of prescription glasses, the worth goes up to  ₹11,998. The frame is available only in black colour at present.
