But a young entrepreneur from Hyderabad, Suneeth Tatineni, and Chaitanya Ainapudi have come up with a brilliant innovative product to replace plastic water bottle that are bio-degradable and made of cardboard.
By leaving behind their comfortable life the two ITs came up with eco-friendly water bottles intending to reduce plastic waste.
HOW THIS CARO WATER TAKEN PLACE
Suneeth Tatineni has a different brought up who used to stack their fridge with glass water bottles and their kitchen with steel cans.
The concept of plastic water bottles was always used to be an issue for Suneeth, so along with his brother-in-law and co-founder, Chaitanya Ainapudi, he started the eco-friendly water bottle “Caro Water”, which means” Dear Water.”
DIFFERENT RANGES OF PRODUCTS
They provide a wide range of products according to the requirements. A 5-liter bottle themed with all blues representing purity and environmental friendliness, which is suitable for placing in the bedroom and can be easily carried in cars, which ranges around Rs.75/-
Another option here is a 10-liter bottle, which is designed especially for kitchen use and can be easily dispensed while cooking food.
The 20-liter water bottle is the largest among all those which is designed for commercial spaces and workplaces. We can feel lighter when compared to plastic containers. All bottles are designed in a very comfortable way where you can feel earthen.
MOTIVATION BEHIND STARTING CARO WATER
For several years, over 1.3 billion people, which is equivalent to 17.7% of the world’s population, have been struggling to reduce the usage of plastic but with the growing population, the usage of plastic is also increasing.
The daily majority of which is from water bottles that people consume daily, so they decided to bring a change in the usage of water bottles. That’s where the Caro Water took birth.
According to Suneeth Tatineni, the co-founder of Caro water, ‘’A person who is traveling long-distance will consume at least 5 liters of water bottles. out of which only half of them are getting recycled while the remaining bottles are used for landfilling, which is considered a serious issue.
To find a solution to this issue, we have started packing water in cardboard boxes wherein nutrition-enriched water is filled into a recyclable bag in box bags.”
FUTURE PLANS
Presently, the operational team of Caro Water uses 3 vehicles, 4 scooties, and 7 delivery executives to deliver Caro Water. Soon they are planning to introduce e-vehicles to reduce the pollution from their vehicles and contribute their version of favor towards the environment and promote their business in an eco-friendly manner.
Creating employment opportunities has always been on their to-do list since the beginning of the company, said Suneeth. Not only packing drinking water but also other food items like cold press oils, juices, flavored water, and many more on the way.

The three-liter of caro water supplies 60% of copper, which is our daily requirement. The product, along with being BPA-free is also vital in boosting immunity. The company has its manufacturing unit at Bachupally and a water plant at Jeedimetla.
