India vs New Zealand test series is going on, and India is looking on good terms with both bat and bowl. Ajinkya Rahane is doing a great job as a captain, but his skills as a player are lacking a lot.
Many Indian fans are not happy with the performance of Ajinkya Rahane, and one of those unhappy men is the former Indian spinner, Harbhajan Singh.
Harbhajan, in his recent interview
The recent interview with Sportskeeda Bhajji said, “There is no Virat Kohli for the first Test and Rohit Sharma also chose to rest. Then there is Ajinkya Rahane; we wonder if he will be on the team or not. But he was named captain.”
Later he added, “So I hope he will move the team forward and also score points with the bat so we can see him play a little more. Scores no point, the queue is very long. There is Suryakumar Yadav among others who are waiting in the queue.”

Bhajji’s Warning to Rahane
As per the former Indian spinner, the competition is great. With the support of Rohit and Virat, Rahane is getting the icing on his career. But, since the Melbourne test, we didn’t see any of the good games of Ajinkya Rahane.
Bhajji also feels that Rahane is undoubtedly a brilliant player with his bat. Still, if he continues his poor performances, days are not long that the Indian test team will move forward without Ajinkya Rahane.
Ajinkya Rahane Test Stats
If we talk about the statistics of the red ball captain, he has 4795 runs in 79 matches with 12 centuries and 24 half-centuries to his name. But, this year, he has been very poor with his bat. This year he has only 411 runs in 12 matches, including 2 half-centuries with a high score of 67 runs.
Harbhajan wants Ajinkya Rahane to do well with his bat as there are so many talented batsmen on the queue.
