About Founder of Practo –
Practo was founded by Abhinav Lal and Shashank ND in 2008. Abhinav Lal is a B.Tech graduate in Information Technology from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. Since childhood, Abhinav has been fond of coding.
Shashank ND was in dire need of a physician in 2008 for his father. He was gathering all his father’s medical records to get a second opinion before his operation. He was also unable to get information about the doctor performing the procedure before putting his father’s life into the doctor’s hands.
This encouraged Shashank and his classmate, Abhinav Lal, to set up Practo Technologies 2008 during their final year in college.
Their hunger for making things better is what shaped their career into becoming successful entrepreneurs.

Consultation done online with doctors across 20+ departments and health plans, which are subscription-based, provide unlimited online consultations.
Everyday Practo’s award-winning practice management software, Ray, is used by 10,000 clinics. Their full-stack HIMS solution, Insta, is trusted by their 500+ clients and across 1,200+ facilities.
They even provide facilities for diagnostic tests through Practo Associate Labs, which are done with the comfort and safety of one’s home delivery of medicines from verified pharmacies across the country.
