NEW VARIANT
A more dangerous virus than corona is over-confidence, nothing more deadly than overconfidence. The negligence was shown in saying and believing this is the most difficult. HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS
Human evolution takes hundreds of years, and in viruses, this process takes only a few months and sometimes even a day. According to data from South Africa’s National Institute for Communicable Diseases, 22 cases of the new variant have been reported so far.
It is currently undergoing genetic analysis, and there is a good chance that more such cases will be registered. The WHO has also put this variant on the watch list, and this variant is named Omicron.
He also claims that this new variant of Covid-19 is highly contagious. The current vaccine that protects against Omicron is not yet been decided. So vigilance is the only better option.

The vaccination percentage of people in Africa and South Africa is significantly less than their population. Western countries are responsible for it. There was not enough vaccination in Africa as western countries overstock the vaccine.
Corona does not bind to the border. Hence COVID is most likely to spread from there. Therefore, even a rude attitude of a single country can cost the whole world dearly.

NUMBER OF MUTATIONS
According to Tuliodi Oliveira, director of the Centre for Epidemic Response and Innovation in South Africa, this variant is quite different. It has the highest number of mutations, and a total of 50 mutations have occurred.
There are more than 30 mutations in the spike protein. Most vaccines attack spike proteins, and viruses enter the body through spike proteins. There have been 10 mutations in the part of the human body that makes contact with cells. There were only two mutations in this part of the worldwide catastrophic Delta variant, and it explains how dangerous a new virus can be.
Some mutations in viruses cause antibodies not to recognize them, and when this happens, the vaccine becomes ineffective. Whether the new variant has this type of mutation is still being researched, and it is feared that this variant will spread even faster than Delta.
The truth on paper and the real world is different, and scientists considered the beta variant more lethal while the delta variant proved to be more lethal on the ground. It could also be that Omicron is not as dangerous as it is considered but cannot be ignored.
