State govt’s policy for Electric Vehicles
The state trusts EVs will make up 10% of all new vehicle enrollments by 2025. Separate targets have been set for bikes (10%) and four-wheelers (5 %). Fifteen percent of state transport transports will be converted to electricity by 2025.
The State Environment Minister, Mr. Adiya Thackeray, concentrated on the EV arrangements of different states and nations.
With its new measures, Maharashtra joins states including Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu to empower e-portability.
