Instagram users can now experience the all-new launch of a new tool to make creating reels even easier. Currently, it is in a testing process where some groups of creators test the templates. After that, Instagram users can use the same format for other videos as well as their Reels.
The Meta spokesperson said to Tech Crunch through an email that they are always working on new ways to make reels simpler to create and they are also testing the ability for users to make a reel using an existing template from another Reel.
One of the users who have tried the new feature in March
Josephine Hill, Marketing Manager, and influencer has posted a screenshot on Twitter and said, “The one thing that she has been looking for, particularly in Instagram reels, was something that resembles TikTok’s audio sync where the clips lineup perfectly to the beat of the music,” as told to Business Insider by her.
How Does This Template Work?
According to the app researcher, Alessandro Paluzzi, the template option enables the users to use any reel clip of others as a template for their reels. The user needs to select the use as template option, and then the framework of the Reel with different time stamps will be displayed. The user needs to select the framework which suits their reel and then copy the format of the clip.
This template option is very useful for those who don’t have an idea to come up with creative ideas and feel that their videos are not as interesting and innovative as others in the app or simply improve the timing of your reel clips. This new tool will be a better option to overcome the difficulties and to give a content reel.
The idea of copying the template is cool, though it is considered plagiarism by the other users. If you are taking an idea and creating your own content, it is okay, but if the original content is copied or if it is not properly aligned, there may be a problem arising if users misuse someone else’s idea, even though the developers have thought of a solution for that too.
Instagram Comes up with some more Interesting Tools
Not only use as a template option apart from that, but Instagram is also testing new tools such as you can view several reels in a single frame Users, tap on any reel thumbnail to switch on to the reels feed, or tap on the ‘Watch Reels’ CTA at the bottom.
It is a short-form video trend on Instagram for the users for easy access to videos.
Instagram Chief Adam Mosseri said in December that they were going to double down on their focus on video and consolidate all of their video formats around reels.
