India seized the T20 series against New Zealand with ease. Men in blue and Blackcaps are set for the test series to go toe-toe from the 25th November to 29th November. The match will be going to be held at Green Park Stadium, Kanpur.
Probable Playing XI of India In Test Series
Under the captaincy of Ajinkya Rahane, India registered 15 players on the squad. Including Ajinkya Rahane, 16 players are the following:
Ajinkya Rahane(C), Cheteshwar Pujara, KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Shreyash Iyer, Shubman Gill, Axar Patel, Ravichandra Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Wriddhiman Saha, Ishant Sharma, Jayant Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Umesh Yadav.
The match will be held at Green Park, Kanpur. Green Park stadium favours the spinners most and expects the pitch; the same behaviour towards the fast bowlers is significantly less.
Considering pitch report and current form, the playing XI should be the following player
Ajinkya Rahane(C)
Rahane is considered the best red ball captain, and he has a big responsibility to lead the team.
Cheteshwar Pujara
Pujara’s form was being sweet and spicy in those past years. Well, he has a little eminence as same as the wall Rahul Dravid. Considering the form, Pujara is the red ball vice-captain of the team.
Mayank Agrawal and Shubman Gill
If we look at the future of the team India, these two players are good opening pairs for sure. We can’t ignore Shubman Gill’s form in his last red-ball cricket as well.
Shreyash Iyer
Ask me the name of the future captain of team India. Without wasting any minute, I’ll say, Shreyash Iyer. Shreyash Iyer is fantastic in all formats, and he has a lot of confidence in his gameplay. Iyer is someone the team can rely on it.
Wriddhiman Saha (W) In Test Series
An experienced and talented wicketkeeper is a must in the test format, and Wriddhiman Saha is the fittest one in this category.
Ravichandra Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja
As we know, the pitch is more favourable to spinners. Keeping the fact in mind, nobody can be the same good as Ashwin and Sir Jadeja. We can’t ignore the current form of Ashwin. He has proved himself one of the best, not only with the ball but also with the bat. Sir Ravindra Jadeja is the best all-rounder of India at the current time, and his performance is consistent.
Axar Patel
Axar Patel, the hero of the last T20 match Patel is the most favourable spinner as per the Green Park pitch keeping his form in the psyche.
Umesh Yadav
Consistency is a must in the game of cricket, and the right-arm Nagpur-born pacer is so consistent in red-ball cricket. Considering his form, experience, and consistency, Umesh secures his place in playing XI.
Mohammed Siraj
More like Umesh Yadav, Siraj also has the same kind of form and consistency. Yes, he doesn’t have that much experience, but he’s that plant of red-ball cricket that is evolving into the tree.
Considering all the odds and evens in marbles, in my opinion, they are the perfect XI for men in blue. What is your opinion on this? Will India win the test series as well? Or would it be the team New Zealand to take revenge in the red-ball cricket?
