Farrhad Acidwalla was born in Pune, Maharashtra, India, on the 16th of November 1993. He finished his schooling at the Bombay Scottish school and graduated from the H.R. college of commerce and economics; further, he did his LLB from Kishichand Chellaram college in the year 2014.
“Don’t hold yourself back and always know that you are capable of anything
you set your mind to,”
It’s the same too, in the case of Farrhad Acidwalla, who is the TEDx speaker, an investor, and is best known as the founder of Rockstah Media and Cybernetic digital and one amongst the successful youngest entrepreneurs in India.
The journey begins
At thirteen years old, he borrowed $10 from his parents to start an online community devoted to aviation and aero-modeling. “Fuelling planes and flying that at distant spaces gave me a drive! A drive to fuel my aviation ambition,” Farrhad said while speaking at an event of TEDTalk in the year 2013. Soon, he sold that project with a massive amount of profit, costing $1,200. And after fa ew years, he invested $400 to get the Rockstah Media company started, based in Maharashtra, India.
At the age of sixteen, he founded a company named Rockstah Media, a highly advanced company devoted to web development, marketing, advertisement, and branding, while studying finance at India’s prestigious H.R. College of Commerce & Economics.
Padma Shree recipients, National Award winners, corporates, media personalities, and Public Sector Units were among his customers.
Achievements
Farrhad has appeared on several media platforms. Including CNN, CNN-IBN, LiveMint, MSN. Com, Yahoo! Finance, The Economic Times, and The Times of India. He also appeared in Silicon India’s list of “10 Teenagers Who Built Million Dollar Companies” and by VOGUE India as one of the “Country’s smartest Gen Z-ers of the moment.” He also has the pride of being the youngest guest lecturer at IIT Kharagpur.
The Telegraph (U.K.) featured Farrhad second on the “25 internet success stories aged 25 and under” list. In 2015, Farrhad was featured in VERVE’s Fresh List of GenNext achievers. He’s also on the Board of Advisors of AIESEC in NMIMS Shirpur.
His investments also included fields of handling consumer grievances and founded the Consumer Guard, a web-based business with Suhel Seth.
The Indian government invited him to speak up to nearly 1000 students at the Chenab Valley, Jammu region of Jammu Kashmir, which his brand-building venture got him.
Some of his visions
If you waste time, somebody out there is using those entire 24 hours, and they will get ahead of you.
If you’re failing and not learning from it, you’re wasting your time. You will learn far more from your most minor failure than you will from your greatest success.
Textbook knowledge will not separate you and get you ahead, and it will get you somewhere, but you need self-education; you need to be out there hungry for knowledge and taking more information.
Lastly, Farrhad has achieved enormous heights at such a young age, which genuinely inspires millions of youngsters and works to create more young people like him.
