We always wish to explore more, travel more, eat more, sweat more; in fact, we are so greedy inside that to grab all the good things at once, we forget to enjoy the joy of small things we already possess.

Unsatisfaction is a trait in every human, and the people who can hold their control over this are the ones leading a peaceful life with no regrets.

But the people who are always complaining and comparing their lives with others are the ones who are always gloomy and mean spirited.

My suggestion does not motivate you to adjust to the limited but to be clear about what you need in life. Agreeing with what life brings to your plate and being flexible in any situation is difficult to practice but not impossible.

    Overthinking

Indeed, we all must have experienced days of sunshine and days of heavy rain. This is how life works, and it is just like a seasonal cycle in which days of working hard will lead to success or even failure.

But it depends upon us whether we stop the hard work once we hit rock-bottom or we double our efforts to see the face of an enormous victory.

Everybody on this earth has good days and bad days of their own. Many cowards hide behind their piles of failed attempts by abusive behaviour or adapting to destructive habits (probably, drinking or consuming hard drugs).

    Getting Rid Of Overthinking

Overthinking is a harmful practice done mainly by people while having a rough day at work, financial crisis during the execution of random family plans, or choosing a career for yourself.

Sometimes, it leads to sleepless nights or eating disorders. It sounds like overthinking is dangerous to our mental well-being, right?

So, to get rid of this bad habit, below I have listed few steps for the same:

    1. Let go of your past- A person needs to stop contemplating the past mistakes or bad relationships that happened. This will ease your pain, cure your scars smoothly, and guide you to make the right decisions by pulling your focus back to your future goals.
    2. Live in the moment- Thinking without blinking about something which never happened is like making a castle in clouds. Some people have a habit of overthinking about the future and forget about the tangible world they live in presently. Meditate and practice focusing on the current day or the current breathe you took this second; this will help you smile today.
    3. Solve your problems- It is easy to focus on the problems faced and easier to ponder over them again and again without a pause. This leads to a toxic lifestyle and blocks your problem-solving ability. Try to shift your focus from the problem and think about the various solutions it might be hiding.
    4. Control your emotions- Excess laugh, excess cry, excess love, excess trust, excess support, and excess of each emotion are some of the ways to build a life of misery. You need to get a hold of your emotions and act neutrally in any given situation. This will help you to make the right decisions and find the necessary solutions to all your problems.

Apparently, overthinking is just one habit; there are many other subjects like over-eating, over-drinking, excess of sleeping, over the use of the internet, etc., which can turn your summer season of life into a cold winter night.

How to stop doing Excess thing

Living your life on your terms by being independent in every step you take closer to your goal defines true happiness and peace.

Winning over your fears and digging a grave for your weaknesses is needed to lead a happy life.

Many people overdo things to suppress a stressful day or hide their insecurities, which one should not be proud of.

Everyone should try to face their fears and learn to turn their insecurities into their strengths by having an optimistic approach towards their problems.

Change of perception and strong control over your mind and actions can be a win-win in times of chaos for anybody.

Maybe not today, but tomorrow will be a new day and a new start for you, so try to practice these learnings and have clarity about your actions taken or the actions you are about to take next.
