To prevent China from becoming dominant in the development of the strategic sector, the United States has planned to construct a semiconductor industry alliance between the US, Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan.

Well, South Korea is not fully into this project, the news reported by Business Korea, because they don’t want to imperil the operations of South Korean chipmakers like Samsung, which has a huge manufacturing infrastructure in China.

Taiwan has replied that cooperation with the United States is a prime concern, but in consideration, China also holds the biggest market, which is also very essential for Taiwan.

China is conducting economic warfare with Taiwan to acquire the semiconductor Industry

China is a major manufacturer of electronic gadgets in the world, such as computers and smartphones. To run these gadgets and overcome their dependence on others, they import all the semiconductors from other countries.

China engages in and performs industrial spying and other activities intended to build its semiconductor industry. This was the main reason for getting Taiwan back under their control.

The Taiwan investigation bureau, along with the administration of the ministry of justice, alleged that 60 Chinese nationals were secretly stealing their tech secrets and plundering employees from Taiwan to obtain technical information, reports The HK Post.

The list of companies that have been investigated includes GLC semiconductor, Vimicro, Analogix semiconductor, Beijing Yinxing technologies, and others.

They are considered the basis for the development of any electronic item.

The illegal technical invasion of China in Taiwan

The Taiwanese government has accused China of conducting economic warfare to conquer Taiwan’s tech sector.

China has allegedly invaded the technical employees and technical secrets in the name of warfare by conducting all of these initiatives, which is a huge loss for Taiwan both technically and economically.

Taiwanese Executive Minister Lo Ping Cheng conducted an investigation and found that Beijing had lured Taiwan’s technical personnel and was thrifting and conducting illegal methods to acquire national critical technologies.

They are violating regulations, illegally investing and operating the business, which is considered a great loss for the country’s IT security and industrial competitiveness.

Until now, the Taiwanese government has imposed many charges concerning the theft and illegal invasion of chips and business secrets, for which Taiwan has had to face huge losses, but still suffers from the unauthorized activities of China.
