Meet the founder
Nirmit Parikh, the ex-Apple executive, founded apna. Nirmit was a part of Apple’s iPhone product operations team. He established Cruxbot, which Kno, Intel Corporation, brought.
Nirmit graduated with a master’s degree in business administration from Stanford University.
The idea of developing Apna came to Parikh’s mind when he saw his relatives and friends crib about the lack of jobs in India. Nirmit wondered how there could be a dearth of opportunities given the population of India.
He concluded that there wasn’t a proper infrastructure connecting the labour to job opportunities.
Apna means ‘Own’ in Hindi, connecting job seekers with numerous opportunities.

Future Plans
