The 24-year-old right-arm medium bowler, Vaibhav Arora bowled a match-winning spell against CSK in his IPL debut game. Vaibhav dismissed Robin Uthappa (13) and Moeen Ali (0) in the powerplay and provided a much-needed breakthrough for his side.
Sharing a new ball with Arshdeep in the past
Punjab Kings’ pace duo Arshdeep Singh and Vaibhav Arora shared the new ball for Sri Guru Gobind Singh College, Sector 26, Chandigarh, Punjab Cricket Association.
The two are now bowling together for the Punjab Kings in the IPL. Arshdeep played for India Under-19 and also got an IPL contract, while Vaibhav Arora didn’t get an opportunity.

In IPL 2020, played as a net bowler
Arora has been called up for trials by the Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, and Rajasthan Royals. But he was not sold at the IPL 2020 auction. His friend Arshdeep helped him, and the Punjab Kings signed him as the net bowler for IPL 2020.
Vaibhav’s confidence improved as he was bowling to KL Rahul, Chris Gayle, Glenn Maxwell, and Mayank Agarwal in the nets.
Bought by KKR at IPL 2021 Auction
Vaibhav took 10 wickets in 6 matches in the 2021 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Following his performance in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders for the base price of Rs. 20 lakh in the IPL 2021 auction. Aurora did not get a chance to play a single match in IPL 2021.
Vaibhav got 2 crores price tag in the IPL 2022 Auction:
After a tense bidding war with Kolkata Knight Riders, the Punjab Kings have purchased an uncapped pacer for Rs. 2 crore in a mega auction. Vaibhav Arora was impressed with his debut. He conceded just 21 runs in his 4 overs and 2 crucial wickets.

In an interview with a local news channel before the start of the tournament, Vaibhav revealed that he wants to fulfill his mother’s dream by buying a house.
