You’re never fully dressed without perfume. Below is a list of my favourite perfumes for men: –
1. Mont Blanc Explorer
This is a ‘one size fits all’ scent. It is an astonishing concoction of citrus, fruity, woody notes. The scent opens up with a blast of Ambroxan and Bergamot. It almost reminds me of Aventus by Creed, but as it dries down, I notice a unique evolution of patchouli laced in sweet herbaceous nuances of clary sage.
All this comes with a beautiful undertone of smoky vetiver supported by a warm and spicy akigalawood note. This perfume can be worn all year around and will grab some positive attention from your friends, colleagues and co-workers.
2.Versace Pour Homme
There’s nothing like ‘one fragrance for life’, but if there were, then this would be the one. Versace Pour Homme is a clean citrus floral aquatic woody scent. It doesn’t have the most novel ingredients in perfumery, but the overall blend is nothing short of a masterpiece.
The top notes of lemon bergamot and neroli welcome you like a breath of fresh air. It feels as if you’re sailing on a cruise boat wearing a well-tailored white linen suit with the gentleness of the sea breeze brushing your face. The freshness loosens up a little, making way for the rose and clary sage.
The rose is very delicate and subdued. It doesn’t smell jammy or indolic in any manner. The introduction of rose notes is quickly followed by an elegant and masculine base of Cedar and Tonka beans with a delicate presence of Amber.
The tonka and amber bring a creamy like experience towards the dry down. Versace Pour Homme is highly recommended to anyone looking to buy their first designer fragrances.
Remember the teddy from the ‘Ted’ movie? Well, it’s exactly what you’re going to get from Toy Boy. It comes with a flirtatious floral-herbal scent with a sweet woody musky base. It is a dominant rose scent that is spiced up with pepper, cloves, and nutmeg notes.
Along the side of the rose, there’s a distinctive presence of pear and magnolia flowers. The pear creates a very joyous and playful aura. The scent is pretty strong and unique, so you’ve got to go easy on the trigger.
Toy Boy is recommended for social gatherings where people from all age groups will surround you. With its unique and charismatic character, ToyBoy Perfume will make you stand out from the rest of the crowd.
4.Rochas L’Homme
This is the newest release from Rocha’s house, known for its long and rich lineup of fragrances. The first thing you’re going to notice about this one with its convincingly fruity pulpy freshness. If you enjoy that fresh shower feeling, this would be the perfect scent for you.
It has orange at the opening. It’s sweet rather than tangy, and this timid, lovely semi-tropical vibe is going on. A pineapple-like note supports the orange in the background. The cardamom note is sweet and slightly spicy.
It adds another level of complexity to the scent. As the scent dries down comes a heavy blast of ambroxan entwined with a herbal twist of basil leaves and juniper berries.
A few hours into the dry down, you’re going to get a sweet cream-like base dominated by tonka beans. This perfume will be perfect for your next summer vacation.
5.Le Male Le Parfum
This newest flanker of the Original Le Male is a welcome addition to those who like to go clubbing or parties. Le Male Parfum is a warm spicy-sweet woody lavender cardamom dominated scent. It is delightful, inviting and straightforward in its approach.
It opens with a gush of sweet oriental cardamom-lavender with a waxy woody heart consisting of iris and vanilla. I get a lot of tonka and suede here, despite them not being present in the notes puramid.
Le Male Le Parfum is strictly meant for cold weather conditions where you want to make your presence felt with your scent cloud. It envelops the wearer with its sweet and spicy, seductive goodnesses.
