By the end of 2021, Rivot Motors are planning to launch their latest EV, NX100. It is a Made in India project.
In recent years with the ever-increasing price of Petrol and Diesel, people are buying electric bikes and cars, which are economical compared to Fossil fuel-based vehicles.
Many companies have already hopped on the ride and have already started manufacturing EVs. Companies such as TVS, Hero, Yamaha, Tata are already a player in this industry.
Rivot is one such pro-player; it is an Indian company based in Bangalore. They are launching their Electric Bike, NX100, by the end of 2021 or the start of 2022 at the latest.
Features and Price –
The bike will be worth between ₹1-1.2 lacs. It will be launched in two variants, and the basic variant will have a range of 180 KM and the second, superior variant with a range of 250 KM.

Battery Capacity & Range
Rivot claims that their new bike gives a range of 250 KM in one charge. The scooter is powered by Four modular and removal li-ion batteries, with each battery giving a range of 70 KM.
Regenerative Braking System
NX100 is equipped with a regenerative braking system that can charge efficiency upto 35%, whereas other companies scooters only charge upto 10%.
Power and Top Speed
NX100 has a powerful 4 KW electric motor that generates a torque of 150 NM; with this, the bike can go upto 100 Kmph.
Top Features of Rivot – NX100
Rivot NX100 has a seven-inch dashboard with a touch screen similar to Simple Energy One and Ola 0S1. It has a dash camera above the headlight, a new feature in all upcoming Electric Scooters.
It has DRL LED lights, a projector headlamp and a regenerative braking system. These features are given to a scooter for the first time.
It is also equipped with Reverse Mode, which helps the driver reverse the scooter without keeping their legs on the ground.
The seven-inch touch screen has features such as User profile, pattern lock, different modes, GPS.
